This medium sized firm of chartered accountants and business advisors have a job vacancy for an audit and accounts manage to join their London audit team. As a manager in the audit and accounts department, your duties will include:

  • Managing a client portfolio of audit and non audit clients
  • Oversee all assignments, reviewing completed work and supervising staff
  • Work with other managers to allocate and delegate work across the department
  • Be a major point of contact for clients, providing business advice and answering queries
  • Be involved in recruitment and staff development for the department
  • Work with senior managers and partners on complex ad-hoc assignments as required 

You will:

  • Hold a recognised accounting qualification
  • Have gained accounts and audit experience working in an accountancy practice
  • Have strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge
  • Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • have the ability or at least desire to manage and develop junior staff
  • Enjoy working closely with clients
